About the Site
I love to cook. I love to share my cooking. While I am not good at sitting down and writing down precise recipes, taking fancy food photos, or executing cooking techniques of those formally trained in cooking… I have been an avid “food prepper” for years and love to find new ways to prep food efficiently while creating meals that are never boring. I have also found that I really enjoy good old meal prep photos and get a lot of inspiration from them. I envision this to be a site where I document my weekly(-ish…) meal prep sessions to inspire others (and myself!). You may not see an organized index of recipes or the most artistic food photos here, but I hope to inspire you to incorporate food prep in your plans to reach your health and fitness goals.
Under the Explore tab, you will find an index with my posts organized in the following categories:
“Weekday Food Prep” – the inspiration for this site, my various lunch preps for the week. Sometimes I get fancy and prep something for breakfast too, other times breakfast ends up being something quick with no prep required.
“Fresh Culinary Creations” – Dishes I cook up fresh, usually on weekends and dinner on weekdays.
“Favorites” – this is where I’ll have my favorite posts on the site.
“Tips” – If I have posts dedicated to offering my tips, they will go here.

I’m a Software Engineer by day… a fitness and food enthusiast by nature. I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and currently my training modality of choice is Crossfit. In the past I have also been a big runner – I have over 10 half marathons under my belt and one full. For fun, I enjoy traveling and being active while traveling – from walking everywhere, to hiking, to scuba diving and snorkeling. I struggled for much of my life with my weight and self image which has led to many years of getting into fitness/health/nutrition and trying to maintain a balance between health, fun, happiness, and most of all learning to accept and love myself. I can honestly say that I am in a truly happy place right now. 🙂
I love learning and am constantly soaking up new information and adapting to what works for me. I love this journey and am excited for you to join me!
